History[]

The brainchild of Japanese maniac \ genius Ryu Kajahara, 'Modern Japan' (a name given to it by the press; Kajahara has made it clear that it has no official name) is a movement that was created around his belief that the traditional touring schedule of Japanese promotions was holding back the business, and that adopting a 'Western' approach would be far more beneficial. WEXXV and WLW were the founding members, but it was the coup of getting GCG to join that really drove home that the movement had the potential to change the entire industry - which ultimately it did, when the giant BHOTWG switched too (although they did not join the movement).
